The IMPRS curriculum is divided into three categories: a scientific training program,  a transferable skill training program and a  mentoring program. We are not a credit-based IMPRS and thus do not require a certain number of credit points to complete our program. We value flexibility for doctoral researchers in crafting their PhD degrees. PhD candidates are free to choose as to what extent they want to engage in IMPRS activities versus research. Nevertheless, we expect participation in core activities and recommend a minimum number of additional activities. Upon completion of their PhDs, IMPRS doctoral researchers are issued a certificate detailing their course work.
